Hi everyone! Todays the big day. Our first Vital Conversations event in partnership with The Calgary Foundation and the University of Calgary. We appreciate that youre taking the time to join us tonight. Therefore, to ensure that we respect your time, well be starting promptly at 6 p.m. so that we can adhere to the schedule as much as possible. For those who arrive early, well have a photo area set up in the lobby where you can share your wish for Canada in 2017 with the rest of the country, and it might also be a good opportunity to start some conversations with your fellow attendees before our Vital Conversations start in earnest. Also, we still have a few slots available for tonights event. While were primarily using Eventbrite to keep track of RSVPs (so if you know your plans have changed for tonight, or if you know that youll be bringing some extra people with you, please do update your reservation on Eventbrite so we can better prepare our group of facilitators), we can also take a limited number of walk-ins at the Check-In Desk. So feel free to invite or bring along anyone else whom you think might be interested in sharing their thoughts about what Canada means to them.
