Hi everyone. We had the final fitting for Katies wheelchair this morning so it will be finally ready for Katie on 12th September. Robert & Katie were on 96fm this morning sharing our fantastic news that we made our target. We have had so many calls, emails & texts from so many people who are so happy that Katie will finally be able to get to America for her operation. It is still sinking in with us that our beautiful baby girl will get her dream & its down to the people of Ireland and beyond for helping Katies dream come true. We wi never ever be able to thank everyone enough for the help we have received. If we were to name everyone individually we would be here for a year. We have met some fantastic people on our journey & have made some great new friends but as they say you realise who your true friends are & that we know now. To our families & fantastic friends thank you all for listening to us through good & bad times throughout our journey we would have been lost without you all. Now the second part of our journey with Katie starts & its exciting but so scary at the same time. Katie will get to live an independent life, a life most of us take for granted & we cannot wait to help her on this road. We will keep everyone updated as news comes in. Roll on 23rd of October when Katies journey to independence starts. Again thank you EVERYONE for your help. Without it we would never have made it Antoinette & Robert
