Hi everyone, is there any literature or information available about keeping a lorikeet as a pet? I have not been able to find much info about them in that context on the web. I have so many questions, mostly regarding what to expect behaviorally as they mature. Also body language, and avoiding aggressive responses during interactions. Im familiar with keeping parrots, I own three 10 yr old conures that I personally weaned, and I work at a bird store. These loris just seem so different from other parrot species. My Trouble (rainbow lorikeet) is a little over two years old and his (or her) behavior has changed recently. Normally I would attribute it to seasonal hormones at this age, but its southern California, so spring is no where in sight. I know this is a long post, but if anyone can point me in the direction of some good info I would really appreciate it
