Hi everyone it is 6.44pm, 21.4, 98% Relative Humidity and winds are vairable. What a horribly muggy start to the day with morning rain adding to the humidity. We saw temps rising quite rapidly during the day assisting the development of some wonderful cells to our NW that produced some very intense, and sustained rainfall, thunder and lightning. These cells have moved offshore and now we will keep an eye on some, currently minor, activity just coming into the 100km radius to the west. Overnight temps will be around 23 for all areas. Tuesday .. We should see a day similar to today with showers from morning with totals up to 35mm in some areas. Thunderstorms, some could be severe, are also a high possibility and we will monitor the situation from early morning. Winds will again be from the NE. Maximums will be 31 in the east and 33 in the west. This weather pattern is expected to continue into Friday night easing back to showers on Saturday BUT that is a long way off so one day at a time. I will post some more information in comments from today and any updates this evening here also. A BIG thank you to BOM who have postponed their maintenance of Mt Stapylton radar for the remainder of the week.. I really dont like using Marburg radar for this far east .. so I am glad they considered our plight. Also a HUGE thank you to you all for your very helpful observations. Have a lovely evening listening to the beautiful frogs singing and see you all in the morning if nothing eventuates sooner ~ nic
