Hi everyone, its George. I am trying to beat the heat by doing a reverse Mini-Olympic at Tri-Pacific. That is Run, Bike, then Swim. Tri-Pacific is a triathlon store. Come by to demo a wet suit (must text me RSVP, contact below). They have a full line of swim accessories, nutrition, bikes and accessories, running shoes, jerseys and accessories. Check it out here: tri-pacific/ Our loose plan: 7:45-8am. Arrive at Tri-Pacific. Free parking in the back. Tri-Pacific 5470 East 2ND St. Long Beach, CA About 8:15am, depart T0 and run 60 minutes along the board walk at 7-10min per mile pace. Its concrete and flat. No cars or traffic lights. We all go at our own pace with a 30 min turn around. About 9:15-9:30am, depart T1 and cycle 60 minutes (approx 15-20 miles) headed North on the San Gabriel river trail (no cars, traffic lights, etc and safe) at a steady chill pace of 18-22mph. This is a flat ride. 30 minute turn around. About 9:30-9:45am, depart T2. Walk 2 blocks to Belmont Shores (South East corner of Bay Shore Ave and E. 2nd Street). Swim. Practice sighting, breathing, wetsuit and water temp acclimation. Calm open water with buoys. distances from 500yd to 1 mi at your own pace. T0, T1 and T2 will be at Tri-Pacific.
