Hi everyone, on Friday afternoon the Minister of Health released a statement on the findings of a working party that looked into the state of New Zealand cancer services to young people in our age group (13-24). Some of the findings are quite troubling for our age group. The working party is agreed that these survivorship inequalities are unacceptable and has made prioritised recommendations to the Ministry of Health which they expect to be largely taken on board.
