Hi everyone, today I though Ill try a new segment on team - TopicsExpress

Hi everyone, today I though Ill try a new segment on team building. So with that, I decided to work on building a theme team based off of a well known marvel military squad Thats right: S.H.I.E.L.D! The reason why I chose them is because right now there are some decent figs in the modern age with the T.A. and if you wanna dip into golden age to do this theme team, it works just as well! So the first team Im gonna show is my simple 251 SHIELD team. This team consists of CAWS: Black widow CAWS: SHIELD Commander CAWS: SHIELD Agent (x2) Why I chose this team: This team I made because its a simple team that rounds itself out and sticks with some advantages. Pros: >Black widow can bring the heat and help in close combat situations. >Shield commander is a decent fig that can bring some range assistance and has a small point cost. >Shield agents are decent for generics and can keep other generics and low cost characters at bay. Strength in numbers so if you have more (I only have 2) add them on to have some meat in your force. Cons: >Black widow has good close combat, but range is iffy at times so if you have figs with combat reflexes or that can get out of her range, it may be tricky to get her into a fighting position >The Shield agents are (as stated before) generics, and will go down quickly so be ready to either A) Make sure your stronger players are prepared to get themselves into a jam and B) Have decent enough strong players to kill the rest of the other team. Or C) Hope to everything your loss will be quick (X_x) So there is my simple S.H.I.E.L.D team. This team works well for theme games and for giving newer players a strong and yet simple team. But obviously if your a vet or just wanna try something else, you can build a stronger and more brutal force. I did this as well and this time used DP FF: Red hulk DP FF: Venom (At 75 pts) CAWS: SHIELD Commander Why did I do this team: Well I recently acquired the FF and well wanted to put those two to good use on some theme team so I decided to pair them up with the commander for a decent match Pros: >Red hulk has great stats and can reach a potential damage value of 5, making him a great close combat attacker (And in a surprising twist, he has a 5 range value) >Venom swings in at 75 points ready to pick off your enemies at long range and with two point values, he can run in and put the pain on the other team. > Shield commander I already went over so just refer back to that. Cons: >Red hulk starts off with low stats and you need to at least get him to click 2 to be able to harness his potential. But because he cant take pushing damage unless he has taken more then 2 moves, you may have to waste some time trying to get him on there >I played venom at a low point cost for this team (The photo shows him on his 1st click) so he will go down fast if not careful. So there ya have it guys! Hope you enjoyed this little segment and I hope to do another soon and leave your feedback in the comments. Till then, Keep on clixing! Also sorry forgot to post photos, they are in another post! (Again ignore the link)
