Hi everyone, we just wanted to post an update to those of you who are new to us. We receive tons of emails & FB messages on requests to help so many families. We have an application process that is on our website for people to go to apply. But just to clarify, at this time we can only do within 2 hours of greater Atlanta. We do not build houses. We go in and help renovate homes if needed, and also give children dream room makeovers to escape their illness. When we started this charity, we were simply just wanting to go into a childs room and paint it and decorate and furnish to create an escape. As we were meeting so many families and going into their homes, we learned there was so much more needed like handicap accessible bathrooms, widened hallways, flooring for wheelchairs etc. Each project is handled by a case by case basis. And it also depends on our budget and how much money we raise to help cover costs and company sponsorship. We just want to clarify this as we are having so many requests to build homes, provide handicap vans, pay rent...etc. We need to stick with our mission and our bylaws. As we would love to help everyone, we can only do what we can handle. With continued support, donations and volunteers, we will soon be able to expand and we are excited, but we will always stick with our mission. Thanks for the support!
