Hi everyone, yesterdays earthquake is a reminder that every L.A. family must be prepared with food, water and other essentials, as well as a plan because we might have a bigger one according to recent scientists study. Today lets talk about how to survive in earthquake: 1. If you are in your vehicle, stop as quickly as safety permits and stay in the vehicle. Avoid stopping near, or under buildings, trees, overpasses, and utility wires. They can fall onto your vehicle. Stay seated in your car and wait until the earthquake is over. 2. If you are in a Building, steady yourself. Hold onto a solid object or get to the floor so that you do not fall. Get next to a sturdy piece of furniture so that if a wall falls, it will create a crawl space in which you can survive. Use your hands and arms to protect these vital areas from falling objects. 3. If you are outdoor, stay where you are, unless you are somewhere unsafe. Stay away from buildings, power lines, or anything large or heavy that can fall on you. Thanks for your reading!
