Hi fellow postcrossers. I am new to this swapping thing. In fact, its my third day actively swapping via this page. And I have had some really sweet exchanges with some of you and made many successful swaps. I am sending out my first batch of cards tomorrow. But something happened an hour ago that makes me nervous and unhappy. A postcrosser here whom I approached for a swap told me to add him/her to do a swap. I assumed he/she thought it would be more convenient to share albums with me that way. So I added him/her. I trusted this person because another postcrosser I know online was a mutual friend. After I added this person, he/she made no attempts to share his/her album. An hour ago, I saw a post by this person of a link to his/her own personal blog for postcrossing with an accompanying picture that belongs to me. The picture was from my Facebook profiles cover photo. I immediately messaged him/her to ask what was going on. But I have not gotten a reply. I really hope this is just a misunderstanding. Is there any possible explanation for this? I am very uncomfortable that this person might be stealing my photos and using them for his/her own purposes.
