Hi fellow taga-UP who warned freshies against posting stupid ideas daw about LGBT: Smart people dont think others are stupid merely because of the beliefs they hold. Whoever told you that the conservative view is stupid? Just because the view is different from yours doesnt mean it doesnt make sense or that it is stupid. Look whos being narrow-minded now? Also, our university is an open university. It is not a university for the liberals only. If the freshman has a Christian perspective of the world, who are you to tell her that she is being stupid? For all you know, she must have read a lot of books to support her religious view as you call it. Thats better than most of you students who blindly support LGBT just because many UP students are open to it. Also, being religious is not a phase. Youre utterly misinformed. Its not something that a person outgrows because shes entered college. Sure, it happens, but only because the person didnt have a strong foundation of faith in the first place.
