Hi folks... Ok, its official.. My ol band, Precious Metal from the good ol 80s is reuniting after 25 years- for a very special show: A breast cancer benefit- raising money for the cancer foundation: Save the Tatas. Many of you do not know me from back then, but this band was my first real pro rock n roll situation. We were signed several times to a few labels- Polygram, Capitol Records. We had the fortunate opportunity to raise peoples eyebrows (and ears) to show people that girls really can rock just as much as the guys....of course, we had many influences.. The Runaways, (later we became good friends with Cherrie and Sandy), Heart (we wrote songs with the Wilsons that appeared on our last record), and many other amazing bands and artists. Our bass player, Alex Peterson is a double mastectomy breast cancer survivor.
