Hi friends! I just wanted to share my experience with local MP Pru - TopicsExpress

Hi friends! I just wanted to share my experience with local MP Pru Goward and her stance on Medicinal Cannabis. The story: I went back into her office again today and asked to see Pru to find out why my correspondence has been ignored. The receptionist at the desk told me I was wrong and Pru responds to all communications she gets from the community. I told her this was not the case and today was my 3rd visit to the office to ascertain Prus stance on Medicinal Cannabis - so I needed to ask the receptionist to follow this up for me and chase down my emails. I heard her talking in the back room with another woman so I get the feeling Pru did not want to come into the office and speak with me directly - and they were talking about the emails I had sent. Ten minutes later the receptionist comes back with a printout of Mike Bairds media release detailing his stance on MC - named Compassionate Care:NSW leads the way on Medicinal Cannabis. All this release is stating is that clinical trials have (once again) been announced - basically, just another stunt it seems from the Libs to keep this nonsense running around in circles. After explaining to the receptionist that this has already been done by the Labor state govt around 10 years ago - apparently this needs to be re-evaluated by the Liberal government. Prus stance is just as Mike Bairds - she supports him fully with nothing to add to Mikes point of view on this matter. Oh, and also - for some reason my emails were forwarded to another group and WERE indeed ignored by Pru and not answered - some oversight that deemed me not local to Prus community here - so basically I was marked as someone from outside the area making a noise on medicinal Cannabis. Not too happy about this situation and the lack of responsibility here, it seems just another cop-out from yet another uncaring Liberal that are all words and no action.
