Hi friends: I need help/advice on my spoo Phoebe (1 1/2 years old). I brought her friend Shadow over for a play date this afternoon. Shadow has been here once before (he is about the same age and a lab mix and very gentle). Phoebe tried to get shadow to chase her and, when he did, she got up on his back in a dominate position and proceeded to very aggressively bite and growl and go after Shadow! I had to pull her off not once but twice! I held Phoebe by the collar and sternly told her no! I ended up taking Shadow home. We have been to Shadows house and Phoebe was fine. Is this a territorial thing? Advice needed as I am upset! Do I have an aggressive dog? By the way, she goes to a local kennel for day camp every so often and to dog parks and has never had inappropriate behavior.
