Hi friends! Several of you have asked how our vacation was and I can only say that it was very interesting. Not quite the trip from hell, but very close. Lol! At least we were able to get out of town for a few days. I just wanted to briefly escape reality, so that was accomplished. Vacation started with Averys stomach bug Saturday night. Thank God it was only a 24 hour thing and no one else got it!!!! We drove to Tampa Sunday (with Avery puking half way there) then our boat was supposed to set sail Monday at 4pm but due to fog, everything was delayed. We got to the terminal at 1pm and had to fill out a standard health form that asked if anyone had been sick in the past 72 hours. Since we checked the yes box we were detained and questioned. That was fun. Then we realized we did not have Kalees birth certificate so we were detained again, lol! We had to have Jefferson County fax one to the port so that took 2 fun hours. We were finally cleared to board about 4pm but no one was allowed to board the boat until 9pm since everything was delayed. We werent able to set sail until 3am so our stop at Grand Cayman Islands was canceled. Bummer!!! :( Avery got seasick the first day at sea because the water was so rough. She got better but then Kalee and I got seasick and stayed that way for most of the trip. Just thinking about it now makes me want to hurl. The kids had a blast at the kids camp though, so everything was wonderful with them. Ptl! :) The weather was cold and windy and gross BUT Cozumel was awesome!!! ♡ The dolphin experience was absolutely amazing. That made the whole trip worthwhile. Then we got home just in time to see Alabama win. Roll tide!!!!!!! I need a nap.
