Hi, friends and family. Just wanted you to know whats up with my mom. Shes had a two day stay in the hospital with some breathing issues, but is home and tucked in for the night. We had to end all this fun with some excitement. We got stuck in the elevator of her apartment building. The doors opened about three inches and that was it. The maintenance man (shout out to Paul father of Michaela Elaine LeBarron) was in the building, but in the meantime we called 911. Paul, bless his heart, got the doors opened, Mom got out and I turned around to collect all of her things and the doors shut again and refused to open. By this time the Sterling fire department was there. I have no idea what they did, but they finally got the doors open and I about ran out of the elevator. I am very claustrophobic, but I was more worried about my mom, having just been in the hospital. She actually handled it better than I did! Quite amazing for 86. Alls well that ends well.
