Hi friends, for those of you who were unable to attend Dirks memorial service, I thought I would share this with you. It was part of my eulogy and I believe a direct sign from Dirk. I was struggling this week with what I was going to say about him in my eulogy. Up til the moment I left my house I struggled. I had an outfit on, and I decided to change. I took off my gold jewelry to switch it out for silver because it matched what I was wearing. As I was pondering what I was going to say about him, I was reaching for my sterling silver jewelry. I saw a small box that Dirk had given me and he told me to open it the day of his memorial. I had totally forgotten about this. As I was agonizing over what to say, I opened the small box that he gave me. In it was a sterling silver ring and it was engraved with the words Hear My Soul Speak. The most beautiful ring you have ever seen. I put it on, and I instantly felt comforted because the words came to me. The photo attached are white balloons we released at the ceremony. Love you all so much and thank you for everything.
