Hi guiseeeee (warning: culture post) Today is Cesar Chavez Day! This state holiday recognizes Chavez and his efforts in improving working conditions and legal rights for labor workers. Filipinos played a critical role in the fight for these legal rights, however no one really knows about this since history books and mainstream media doesnt give recognition to Filipinos. Anyways, I made a post about this on my PCE culture Tumblr. I highly suggest reading it and being more informed about it because its an important piece of Fil-Am history!
