Hi guys, I had spend a lot on female tokays cause they keep on dying after the first clutch of eggs laying. Then I find out each time before they died, they would attacked by seizure then collapse. I dont understand at first, but now I do. I read somewhere it was due to kidney failure n wonder if its cause of too much protein, but they rely on insects and other small meaty animals to survive, which doesnt cost the body to have trouble. Then, I do some book digging find out that the muscle spasm, swelling of kidney n etc is caused by lack of sodium. I need advise here, do u think its ok to feed the tokay with salt water (very very little salt diluted in the water) orally or theres any medication that I can use to encounter the matter?
