Hi guys, I have a question for those of you who do long distance OW swims in Europe: Would you travel to a beautiful area of Central France if we organised a swim event with 10km, 5km and 3km available in one of France largest lakes (see link)? It is not currently very swim friendly as they have only limited swim areas and tend to open the lake for boats and jet ski and dont like long distance swimmers to swim outside of authorised perimeters. I want to try to persuade them to allow for a yearly long distance event. Please could you let me gage interest so that I can show them that this would attract OW swimmers. There is lots of accommodation near by and direct flights to Limoges airport.
