Hi guys! I work for a local moving/storage company in SLC. Every year we receive and distribute the Girl Scout cookies from Little Brownie Bakers for the entire state of Utah and I am moderately involved in the process. Just had a meeting with a woman from Girl Scouts of Utah and she told me that the Thin Mints coming from Little Brownie Bakers (AKA any cookies you order from a Girl Scout) will be VEGAN. She has a vegan daughter and is aware of how large the vegan community is in Utah and has been urging LBB to consider making more of their cookies vegan-friendly (Girl Scouts other bakery, ABC Cookies, makes 4 or 5 of their cookies vegan). She also mentioned that they will be piloting a gluten-free option at the booths that start to pop up around March, but she was not sure if the GF cookies will be vegan or not. Just wanted to share the good news with you guys! Please note that that doesnt necessarily apply to any kind of Thin Mint-flavored things you might find in grocery stores. Just the cookies coming directly from a troop.
