Hi guys, Im looking for marketing suggestions for our local farmers market ... it needs more visitors/buyers as well as more sellers. Its been running for 2 - 3 years but hasnt really got the sort of traction I would have expected in that time, especially for a city of 16,000 people ... and with plenty of locally grown produce and cottage industries. Its held in a picturesque spot, alongside a river and some terraced gardens ... on a lawned area with large trees ... only a couple hundred metres from the main street ... and has plenty of parking. I dont really have much to do with it other than as an occasional visitor ... but a close friend is the chairman of the managing committee ... and he tells me their marketing manager left last week. They could really use some direction. Thanks for any input.
