Hi guys, Imaginary Horse is out and we are beyond excited - TopicsExpress

Hi guys, Imaginary Horse is out and we are beyond excited about that and the many things that are going on for us at the moment! We can clearly remember working on the album at our very own studio/garage for months on end, day and night, trying hard to find our very own sound, questioning everything we had done before, reinventing ourselves without boundaries, not knowing if the album would ever see the light of day and if it did, whether you guys would like it or not... We had deliberately not listened to other people´s music during the making of the album, so that we would not be influenced by anyone or anything other than ourselves. We had not talked to record companies or booking agencies during that time as well. We guess you could say we kind of retreated from the normal world to work on this imaginary horse of an album. (Fynn actually had an imaginary horse when he was a child and the song itself is about that horse). Once we were done recording the album, we felt the need to play the songs live and decided to do a self-booked US tour. The tour went so much better than we had ever expected, starting with 10 little shows booked through Facebook and eventually becoming 35 shows, including headlining shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. We made countless friends along the way and that tour lead to us signing with Easyrider Records, our management Indegoot out of NYC and to being booked by Scott Sokol at Pinnacle Entertainment (Slayer band, Machine Head, Mastodon and tons more) in the US and Bex Majors at CAA (Against Me!, MGMT, Turbonegro and tons mores) for Europe. Our German label, Noisolution is back on board for Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well. To now hold the vinyl and CD versions of #ImaginaryHorse in our hands feels absolutely amazing! There are no words to describe what we are feeling right now....and to top it all off, we recently toured the US again, this time, with our agent booking the tour, we got to see a much more of America, got to play amazing venues and even played the Riot Fest in Chicago AND Denver! Currently we´re on a two month long European tour with KADAVAR, playing sold out clubs every night, making new friends and meeting up with a ton of old friends along the way! Life is great! We would like to thank everyone who has supported this band in any way, big or small. Thanks for showing up at our shows, buying our album, checking out our videos, etc. You guys are the reason why we just drove 9000 miles through the U.S. and why we will be driving 23.000 km through Europe until the end of November. Now put that needle on the record, crank it up and ENJOY!!! Respect, The Picturebooks
