Hi guys, Slightly off topic, but not completely. Ive started a fundraiser for the civilians in Gaza. This is how it works, feel free use the concept: Ive set up a page on my website asking people to make a donation to an organization of their own choosing. When theyve done that, they fill out their name and contact info and eventually Ill draw one and invite them over to have their portrait made on wet plate collodion. So far 30 people have chipped in roughly 1.000 us dollars in two days. Not bad. The site is in Danish (as its only relevant to people who lives in the vicinity, but I guess it could be done as a print auction or anything like that. Disclamer: I realize that there are as many opinions on this conflict as there are collodion recipies and I take great care to not get involved in any of them. I suggest that people donate to the Red Cross or Doctors Without Borders, which I hope is a fairly neutral way to do it. emilryge/gaza
