Hi guys. Thanks for adding me to the group. I live in New Zealand and have a nearly 4 year old with a club foot. He also has a congenital heart defect and hydrocephalus - but is a fighter and so brave! We did the ponsetti method with his foot, castings, surgery then boots and bar full time for a few months then to nap and night time. He has been out of the boots since just after his 2nd birthday (hes 4 at the end of October) and his foot seems to be gradually getting worse and worse. I asked for a second opinion earlier this year, and the lady told me that she wonders if he will need surgery again as a 5-6 year old. The last month the foot has turned in even more! And has a big lump out the side (as you can see in the photos) so we are now awaiting to get our appointment with the orthopedic surgeon brought forward to the next few weeks. Has anybody else had this - or have any idea what they may do for him? :)
