Hi guys, some advice re: car hire please! My husband, a friend and I, are going to orlando 9-30 sep this year. We want to hire a car .. (Cheap as possible, naturally, were happy with the smallest cars) my husband will be the main driver, but the friend wants to be able to drive too. When we went in 2012, it was all booked by someone else who was holidaying with us. They booked one of the gold package things meaning no excess, free tank of fuel, and additional drivers. However if I use any comparison style sites I seem to only be able to get base rates with additional features available at the desk which I do not want to do. I have looked on some individual sites and seem to be getting some decent prices, Alamo have an offer on for a free additional driver at the moment, though wed have to take it back full, which always makes me panic :). Bottom line, is what should I be looking out for to be included? Any recommendations etc. any help appreciated, sorry as I know it will be a commonly asked question x
