Hi, just introducing myself to the group. Im Lisa, mom to Colton that has a seizure disorder. Hes 14, going on 15 in Sept. We have been battling with seizures since he was 3. He is,and has been for a while, on 3 meds to control them. We of course have breakthroughs but hes mostly good. The heat of the summer is a trigger for him so thankfully we have central air! And we usually go to the beach in the later afternoon after it cools down a bit. Please share your stories, suggestions to me anytime. Also what meds have worked/not worked for your families. Feel free to inbox me if you arent comfortable talking on this.Thanks for letting me join the group! We are familiar with the Matty Fund, although we havent had a chance to join any festivities. Look forward to talking to moms and dads that struggle as I do!
