Hi leaders, I know its that time of the year again for spirit games/weeks, but its also getting close to another very important time for your schools and school districts that you may have not have even thought about before, voting on levy and bond measures. Levies and bonds are critical funding measures for school districts, levies accounting for a significant portion of operating expenses (many times goes to things such as extracurricular activities and leadership programs, sometimes even basic education functions) and bonds being funds for improvements. If you really want to help your schools out and secure vital financing for its future, look into your districts funding measures that they will likely be putting forth this year and see how you can best assist in their passing.
