Hi, lets talk about footwork because its my favorite thing ever and even though its started to get more popular in the last few years, its still criminally underappreciated. Footwork is a style of music/battle dancing that started in South Chicago in the very late 90s/very late 00s, which evolved out of juke and the more frenetic side of ghetto house (a lot of people use the three terms interchangeably, but theyre all distinct things). Im not going to try and explain it much, because its always hard to explain things that you love so much, so Ill just post this video here and a bunch of my favorite tracks in the comments.
