Hi my DCP pals. Here is todays poem. I have a degree in math, but it is not my strong suit. Learning to Subtract Even when I could not understand Operations, how to calculate differential Equations or approaching limits; even When I surrendered to the topology prof’s Advice to stay in bed and dream a place Beyond infinity; even when Rudy repeated All afternoon the max, the min, or when Non-Euclidian geometry intersected With something I could understand, Even when nothing meant anything real: I persisted, hoping to learn How to calculate the velocity Of love. But the way our bodies slipped Like warships through the night, So many variables in opposition, All triangulation, proved to be more than anything I could solve for us.
