Hi my friends out there. For the past three days, I am in Malakal for official duties. I am visiting this town for the first time since May 2011, though I made a couple of stop overs here. Not much has changed, it is still as muddy as it was then, and a little bit colder and rainy (dont forget your gumboots when you want to visit) I am lucky to celebrate the international UN day here in Malakal with my colleagues. This years theme for South Sudan is one South Sudan, one UN. I will send you photos of the event here later. Tomorrow, I will be in Maban and back Juba on 30 Oct, 2013. My next field mission is likely to be to WES (Yambio) - my favourite destination. I can wait!!
