Hi, my name is Maisie and I am ten years old. When I was about two my mom died from heart cancer. After she passed my dad raised me as a single father. If I ever dropped something I would get hit with a belt even if I was a baby. My dad use to always go to the bar and get drunk while I was at home all alone. I was never allowed to leave my room. When I was about 7 years old my dad started throwing stuff at me. I was also never allowed to talk or he would threaten me that he would glue my mouth shut. From that day on I always cried myself to sleep. Even if I had too go to school he would be sleeping and I would have to make myself breakfast then clean it up before I had to go to school. I was always late for school because i had to always walk even if it was pouring down rain. Then one day my dad hurt me so bad that when I went to school they called the Child Protection Services. From that day on I never got abused again. I am currently in a foster home. I finally got adopted and have nice parents now. Now I can actually talk to my new parents. After I left my dad got put into jail. If I ever have a kid in the future I will never do what my dad had done to me. By, Samantha Age 12 Subject: Anti Child Abuse
