Hi neighbors! We’re kicking off a new year with another community member hosted dinner for the women at Rahabs Sisters on Friday, January 23rd from 7-10pm(ish). This will kick off the 2015 calendar of community hosted dinners that are happening the 4th Friday of every other month throughout the year! On the menu so far this month we have beef stroganoff and buttered noodles. I’m hopeful some (or many!) volunteers can help me round the menu out with salad(s), bread of some sort, dessert, beverages and anything else you think the women might enjoy! If you’d like to donate food please plan to prepare at least 40-50 portions, though. We also need volunteers who are able to help serve and hand out toiletries and supplies to the ladies, so if food isnt your thing, no worries, we’d still love to see you! It’s a great chance to support a fantastic nonprofit right here in Montavilla, meet new neighbors, and provide radical hospitality to a lovely group of women.
