Hi one and all. Firstly thank you all for a great weekend. It was fantastic to see so many new people attend the racing and helping out. We are looking forward to a great year and hope to see you all back for future meetings. A couple of house keeping issues to resolve though so could all officials please be aware of the following. Accommodation. All Officials requiring accommodation for race meetings are asked to contact Robyn Ryan by phone on 02 4822 2811 to book accommodation. Facebook and email requests can be missed so we can not guarantee availability if you have not spoken to Robyn personally. It is recommended you reserve your accommodation three to four weeks before the event as space is limited in the on site facilities. Robyn will need to know what day you are arriving too to arrange keys be left out for you. We really do not want to have any official miss out so please book early. Driving Personal Vehicles on Track before the meeting. We ask that no official is to take their personal vehicle onto the track without first gaining permission from either Craig or Sam. There could be staff working on the track surface or competitors walking the circuit so it is important that we know who is on track and why. The Clerk of Course does a track inspection under hazards each morning and this is part of their role. We do not wish to have to ban the practice of allowing other officials the opportunity to drive on track. If you are given permission to take your personal vehicle on track, you must remain below 40 km per hour with hazard lights on. Driving at speed prior to competition actually breaks the terms of the Wakefield Park licence.
