Hi praying mothers Thank you for all the prayers and advise that you share. The group is growing and we can only give God the glory. The reason we dont have set rules on this group is because: we the members are guided by our belief in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We have a common goal and purpose, we are God fearing, we love Jesus, we are godly mothers and we love our children. But we are all so different and we are bound to see things differently that is because we are all from different backgrounds ...... What am I getting to you might ask? I would like to remind you (these are not rules) Let us try to exercise restraint and let us be patient with one another 1 Cor 13 v.4-8. Let’s us treat/speak to each other as we would like to be treated/spoken to Mat 7 v. 12. Finally we are commanded to love one another by our Lord Jesus Christ John 13 v. 34. In response to inactive members - imagine our group as a church? Will everyone go up and preach or be a pastor? No…. just yesterday someone who does not post/inactive told me that she goes onto this group every day because there is always a message on the group that either encourages her or speaks to her particular situation. Now imagine we de active non-participating/inactive members? I will also say this, that we do not have curators in this group for the simple reason that we want every member to be able to share their prayers/requests or uplifting messages( if they want). The posts in this group are uplifting and we have been hearing testimonies daily. Let us continue in one voice. Differences will arise now and again,( it is okay to think differently and have a different opinion) and when this happens lets us have discernment and wisdom how we will respond to each other. If the worst comes to the worst please speak to one of the administrators (I am one of them) and we can try to resolve the problem in a godly manner. This platform is for every woman/mother who Loves God and who believes that Jesus died on the cross to save us from sin. Forward in prayer Yours sister in Christ, Winnie
