Hi, recently I bought the Google Nexus 4. I was a happy user until it dropped from my pocket and got a small crack on its left upper corner. This causes the lock of the lower (not upper) half of the display. So, the phone is useless now. And, yes it did not have a bumper (cover). But, even it had one, this would most likely not stop the phone from braking. So, I need your suggestions on how to repair the phone. Here, in France I was asked to pay ~200 euros for such as a service. Any better and cheaper options? Finally, the moral of the story: buy a bumper for your phone or even better the insurance. Thanks a lot for any help provided! N.B. The Google Service Team, whom I contacted fist and from whom (Google) I bought the phone, sent me to the LG Service Team (Why?), which had a quite complicated way of registering complains. A day after, I was forwarded to the local service, which is temporarily (5h of 8 working hours!) unavailable. Too many bureaucracy.
