Hi, thanks for the add to the group. I am trying to identify an old bike I recently bought (here in Malta), it was said to be a late 30s Phillps. The bicycle has been used until a couple of years ago so throughout all these years am presuming most parts have been changed, I have found no known stamps (nothing stamped Phillips) and rear hub is quite recent. Also have a pic of the frame number. I have been trying to identify the bike from the features in the frame and find it closer to a BSA than a Phillips. Any ideas? Would like to make a project out of it and restore it with as much original parts as possible (and feasible). Thanks.
