Hi to All, we started the day on Thursday on the hop on hop off bus to the outer reaches of Paris and returned to the Luxembourg Gardens for lunch and a wonder thru the magnificent gardens, it was such a hot day and we tried to keep in the shade while walking, the French people were basking in the sun spread over two chairs facing into the sun, like sun worshipers!! They are all so bronze at the end of their summer. After another cool shower !! We headed off to the Eiffel Tower for our tour. We booked a skip the line tour and would recommend that to anyone who wanted to ascend the tower. So many people and so hot. It was very worthwhile & breath taking views. We had a terrific guide and gave some fantastic stories of the history of Paris. We met Laura, Marina & her mother & niece after the tour at the base, wonderful to see the. Them came over from Athens just to see us ! X we ventured on the subway to St Germaine for diner. The city comes even more alive at night, what a party town. After dinner 11pm. rob & I walked back to our hotel thru the little streets, & the bars were hopping & street buskers were doing their thing !! So today we are off to meet Laura over at Monte Marte, a very old part of Paris. Au voir xx
