Hi to all my shipmates.....just needed get something off my chest (sorry about the pun read below). Just been discharged from Intentsive care. Three nights ago had severe chest pains, put up with it throught the night, went to GP (who give me a bollicking for not reporting it earlier) and gave me an emergency ECG, as a result blue lighted me to sheffield hospital, where I spent 2 days undergoing angio grams, ultra sounds etc to confirm I had not had, and survived a heart attack, the good news is that My main pump is in sound condition as is the supporting plumbing (I.E. heart and arteries) in fact for myn age they were considered V SAT. Unfortunately they cannot at the moment pinpoint the prob. Any way the reason for this post was, whilst in the ambulance and being pumped full of morphine (which I dont recommend becuase it makes u want to yack up) all I could think about was If I pop my cloggs noboby (from ex RN, not family) would know, they would just think I am ignorant not respoding to emails/face book messages. I need to give this some thought , thinking about buddy system on board, or am I getting too deep. Any way always out for a laugh, when they pumped me full of this crap, theyn ambulance womeen said are you ok? I said my head and face were extremely cold all of a sudden, she said my face was looking hot, to which I said my phone number is in my wallet, she had to tak e a break from putting the next syringe in through laughing.......can take the matelote out of the navy but........ bye the way realised the other day realised in a couple of years I will be 60, does anyone know the number of a mathematics professor to re confirm.
