High Court Grants Mtine Injunction Against FAZ Football administrator Andre Mtine has been granted an injunction by the Ndola High Court against the life ban slapped on him by the Football Association of Zambia. Mtine who is TP Mazembe representative in Zambia was forced to seek legal recourse after FAZ arbitrarily banned him from all football activities. The matter is expected to come up in the Ndola High Court today for interparty hearing and will be curiously waiting to see if FAZ will be sending a representative. Mtine deems the ban as an affront on his civil liberties and has challenged it. The TP Mazembe official was banned by FAZ for allegedly influencing the Zambian internationals Stoppilla Sunzu, Rainford Kalaba and Nathan Sinkala to miss the international friendly against Brazil in October last year. The trio who were reportedly ill had their passports confiscated by the government but were later cleared of any wrongdoing with their passports handed back.
