High School Students: Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Congressional Art Competition, An Artistic Discovery, is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in each congressional district. The winners have the opportunity to display a piece of visual art in the Capitol tunnel for a year. Students must submit their work to our office no later than May 1st.
