High Value Jewellery Stolen During Odell Burglary Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after £100,000 worth of jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Odell over the weekend. The raid happened at a property in High Street, Odell, sometime between 6.15pm on Saturday March 1 and 1.15am the following morning. The offenders forced open a side window to the house and then carried out a search of the entire property. The offenders managed to force open a safe and stole a collection of high value items including jewellery and coins before fleeing the house. Many of the items stolen were extremely rare and unusual and hold great sentimental value to the owners. Detective Constable Danny Howett, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or may have seen the offenders. If you have information relating to this incident, contact DC Howett, in confidence, on 01234 275347, the non-emergency 101 number, or text information to 07786 200011. Alternatively contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111, or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
