High handedness of #APPolice I was at Olives bistro hyderabad today when a police official ( doing patrol rounds) barged in at 11.10 pm asking people to get up and leave. The bar was already closed by that time and people were just finishing their food and leaving.I saw the officer taking pictures of women among the group of youngsters sitting at a table and was appaled. What was the mistake of patrons to be photographed by police when they hadnt done anything wrong? I asked the police official why he took pictures and he started being rude, raised his voice and started taking my pictures.i asked him to stop and he said he is wearing police clothes so he can do what he wants and proceeded to take pics of my table with leftover dishes and drinks. I told him he is a public servant who is supposed to be protecting us and that he needed a warrant to take any such photograph or hold me accountable to anything when he started telling his people to throw me in the police vehicle. I started asking him how he can do that and when his constables told him i am a well known actor he sarcastically asked his subordinates if i was Mahesh babu or his relative. I decided to leave the place and talk to his seniors tomorrow when his subordinates told me ( as i was getting into my car )that i can leave only after having a word with the rude official. I said i dont have to ... and left the place. This is the true and entire story. If this is my fate ... For asking not to tarnish image of youngsters ; i just cant imagine the plight of others faced with such rudeness and highhandedness from people who are supposed to protect us ! Sad state of affairs ; i am shocked, appalled and disappointed !
