High pressure from the western Atlantic ridging west across the north central FL peninsula will maintain pleasant weather with ample sunshine across the region the remainder of today. A southeast wind flow around the high is helping to increase humidity levels so it will feel a bit more muggy today and Monday. The increase in moisture may also lead to some scattered showers and thunderstorms developing along the sea breeze circulations over interior locations this afternoon, and again Monday and Tuesday afternoons. It will be hot and muggy through the period with afternoon temperatures climbing into the lower 90s over inland locations each day, but cooler along the coast due to the sea breeze. Rain chances will be on the increase Wednesday through Friday as a frontal boundary approaches and then stalls out over the region.
