High pressure over the Ohio Valley will slide east tonight with dry conditions expected across the Twin Tiers. Skies will become partly cloudy at times with winds on the light side. Overnight tempertures will drop into the lower teens, with a few single digits possible in some of the normally colder locations. Sunshine will mix with scattered clouds on Friday with a light southwesterly breeze expected to warm temperatures into the mid 30s. A developing storm system over the Southeast will begin to push more clouds our way at night with lows near 20. The storm will rapidly strengthen Saturday as it lifts to the northeast. Computer models remain in pretty good agreement on the expected track, keeping it too far to our east to have much of an impact. Locally on Saturday, were expecting mostly cloudy skies with the chance for flurries. Afternoon temperatures will top out in the mid 30s. Another storm system will approach the region late this weekend, and this time around, we are expecting some accumulation. A clipper system will approach from the west with periods of snow expected Sunday evening into Monday, likely resulting a slippery Monday morning commute. As the clipper lifts away on Monday, much colder temperatures will arrive with highs by Tuesday not getting out of the teens.
