High tide was at 1130 est this morning. 4 hours later, I still have canal water in my yard. At noon, the intracoastal canal water was 4-6 inches up the skirting going around our place. And, it is a new moon. This time of year this happens during the full moon. This time it is the wind keeping the ICW from flowing out to sea and onto roads and yards. 95 per cent of the time water front property is the best.
