:: Hijab in Singapore ( Non Government ) Schools :: Updates I visited the school yesterday - Overseas Family School - OFS - ( https://ofs.edu.sg/ ) The school allows the Islamic Attire But there are still many red tapes to get approval from MOE before the final green light Next: The Fees is $3000 a month! My heart sank! I realize with such fees not many parents can afford to send their kids to such schools even if they want to! I am grateful that I can afford to do so for my daughter but what about other parents??? Especially parents whose kids do not have any Arabic background to opt for the Madrasah system or have no place in the Madrasah system Been thinking and thinking about this matter till sleepless nights Which lead me to this CRAZY idea ... It starts with an INTENTION I want to set up a Non Profit organization to offer GCE O Level Curriculum studies for Muslim Students who Choose to Use Hijab So parents who cannot afford such private schools can opt for an alternative route for only less than $500 a month A private non profit school set up that can offer - Professional teachers to give GCE O level support like a normal school curriculum - Yet with affordable fees I am looking for Human Resource Support Experienced Full Time Teachers who are willing teach Upper Secondary syllabus Full Time at $1500 per month - English - E Math - Physics / Chemistry / Biology - Principles of Accounting - Malay as 2nd language Let me know if you know anyone who can support this cause - In Planning, Resources, Curriculum - I am also open to accept investors For now I will support the funding myself PM me if you wish to take on this Project for the Ummah #HijabHerChoice #HijabSchool #Ummah -
