Hillary Ombima RAILWAY PROJECT IS A HOAX. *************************** The contractor assigned to construct the railway is a bogus one which has recently been blacklisted by WORLD BANK. The rates quoted of U$D6million per Kilometre is also exaggerated. The Government should await the outcome of the court on the viability of the questionable project. The so called Partners in Development of the Railway line were conspicuously absent that is Uganda, Rwanda and South Sudan leaving it for Kenya to reap the taxpayer on its own. It is difficult to understand why they would run away from the project launching after edging out TZ leaving Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta to do all the bidding with his Chinese counter parts. Kenya must realise that a tax levy of 1.5% of goods imported is being directed towards this project, I urge all Kenyans to rise up over this dubious project as this could be another scandal. I am smelling a rat. COULD THIS BE ANOTHER ANGLO-LEASING? Just thinking.
