Hillcrest Team: CrossFit ATR is hosting a FREE multi-box throwdown on Saturday, June 7th that was originally just for just CrossFit ATR, CrossFit 858, Outlier CrossFit, and Mighty CrossFit, Tom Hill, the owner of Crossfit ATR and event host, was gracious enough to allow CF Hillcrest to add in 2 Intermediate and 2 Beginner Teams. The focus of this event is to build camaraderie between gyms and also to dispel any “Us-vs-You” feelings. It will be a “4-person team” competition – two males and two females. With that being said, we need to build some teams! If you would like to compete, please utilize the workouts below as the determining factor for which division you would compete in, then post to comments below with your requested level. We currently have 4 teams slot so 8 guys and 8 ladies, but if we have enough interest ill see if I can eeek out some more team slots from Tom Hill. Also, please understand that this will be an all day event so expect to start around 8am and go well into the afternoon. Workout #1 “4 CrossFitters one Bar” This workout will have one bar with one set weight. Males must complete a Squat Snatch and females must complete a Squat Clean and Jerk”, Each Team will have 6 minutes to build as many reps as possible. Adv: 135 Int: 105 Beg:75 Additional to the ability to lift the amounts mandated by their first WOD, the intermediate athletes should be able to perform unassisted pull-ups (al least 1 pullup per person) and the advanced category athletes should be able to perform chest-to-bar pull-ups. Athletes of all divisions should be familiar with all of CrossFit basic lifts, including the Olympic Lifts. Workout #2 Team Angie 100 Pull-ups 100 Push-ups 100 Weighted Sit-ups 100 Goblet Squats (71/53, 62/44, 44/35) One member of each team must do at lest 1 rep in each movement Adv: GHD Sit-ups / C2B Pull-ups / Deficit Push-ups Int: Unassisted Pull-ups, weighted sit-ups (35/25) Beg: Assisted pull-ups or variations, weighted sit-ups (25/15)
