Hilton Park, Local musical talent specializing in Americana, Folk, Blues is holding a consciousness-raising concert to bring awareness to the growing problem of our elderly neighbors becoming isolated from the rest of the community due to infirmities of age. The date, time and venue have yet to be determined but now is the time to express your support. Stand and be counted. Like, Share, and help spread the word. Commit to the cause and add your name to the list of those willing to do something as simple as knocking on a door to say hello, offer to cook a meal… give a ride, do some grocery shopping, take a walk, sing a song, or just water the plants. It’s about community, customs and culture rooted in care and concern for the elderly. I suggest that we not only Like and Share but lets also start sending in our musical requests to Hilton Park....
